This was an easy one - would make a good warmup climb early in the season. It's hard to pick Sherman out from a distance, it doesn't really have much of a shape.  A 4X4 would really make this a short climb.  Donna and I did this one; you go up a saddle toward an old mine building, really windy at that point.  Then you climb a ridge, curve around, and you're there.  Big, wide summit - about the size of a football field.  Apparently a small aircraft made an emergency landing there without too much problem. A guy we were talking to at the top started down about the same time we did.  There was a chute in the snow going right down the side, and Donna and I watched a couple people and a dog go down that way, and we were debating trying it too.  The guy caught up to us, said "go ahead, it can't be that bad!" and hopped off the cornice.  He didn't get hurt so I jumped down too, followed by Donna.  That was fun!  Had no problem stopping before hitting the rocks.  A little wet on the way down to the car, but it didn't take long at all.  Oh, this one must have been done in 1998.
