Just a quick note on this climb - up until now, December is the only month that I have never climbed a 14er. Not much to write about this climb, 3 hrs up, 1.5 hrs down... been a couple months since I've hiked so I went slow and took my time. Weather was okay, windy but sunny and not cold enough to freeze much of my water bottle. Saw a couple ptarmigans near the trailhead, hunkered down in the snow.
